Mugg & Bean’s Harley-Davidson handover took place on Saturday, 29 September 2007. Proceeds from Mugg & Bean’s Gingerbread Foundation support 5200 orphans and their 350 careworkers in the Nkomazi Valley in Mpumalanga. As an incentive to encourage customers to obtain their own Gingerbread Foundation cards, Mugg & Bean ran a competition with the grand prize being a Harley-Davidson.
The Harley-Davidson was won by delighted Gingerbread Foundation cardholder, Tracey Dorrington who is from Kempton Park. Tracy applied for her card at the Festival Mall store. The event was also attended by Thuli Sithole, last year’s Miss SA along with this year’s Miss Earth South Africa winner Bokang Montjane and runner up, Palesa Makwa.
