The Gingerbread Foundation is a trust initiated by Mugg & Bean to help educate and take care of some 4,500 orphans and vulnerable children. The main beneficiary of the Gingerbread Foundation is the Nkomazi Community Trust in Mpumalanga.
The Nkomazi Community Trust is a legal entity created to intervene on behalf of the orphans of that community by providing education, safety, physical and social needs.
As the legal beneficiaries of the Trust, the orphans and care workers represent the “owners” of the trust, entitling them to 100% ownership recognition.
